Update in 5769, just before the new Year starts

This is Okki's room. hopefully soon we can talk about somebody else then Okki but for now, we stay with Okki.
Erez came over the hung up the luxaflex but when it was finally up, it broke. I had to go back to the Praxis to get a new one. I was happy that they make a big fuz about it.
The curtains I did myself, took me a long time but I do feel good.

On the left door there will be a poster with boker tov and a sun. Unfortunately i didn't get it back yet when the photo was taken.

Loving the room

This is the Baby room. My mom painted the clouds on the ceiling. Daniel and Chowav painted the room. Hopefully Erez will help us soon the put something in front of the window.
When the room changes we will put new pictures up









This is me last Friday afternoon. we are 37.5 week in our pregnancy.
Next monday we have to go to the hospital again for a check up. I really hoped something changed in the position of the little one but I don't know. According so some people my belly looks different but at this point I don't have any idea anymore.

It's been awhile

Dear All,

it's been awhile since we last posted but we are doing fine.

The baby is kicking like crazy and sometimes I have the idea that I have a whole soccer team inside. A few weeks ago I wasn't feeling too well in the evenings and on Monday night I even threw up. We decided it would be best to call the midwife to discuss it with her. At the end she wanted me to come over and everything was fine. During our last check up, she tried to get the heart beat from Okki. Everytime she found it and was counting it, Okki started to kick and she had to start all over again. Already teasing, you can't start early enough.

Last week, we went shopping for stuff but unfortunately didn't find anything. Today we went shopping again and actually succeeded. We also figured out what the colour is going to be for the baby room, it is going to be really light green. The ceiling stays white and mom will paint clouds about the bed. We all grew up here, with clouds above the bed so I want that for the little one too.

Hopefully in a few weeks we will post pictures of the baby room.

2 days before....

Another 2 days and then we will be flying to the States!!!! We are so looking forward to it and just can't wait. Tonight we want to finish packing bc tomorrow night we are going to Mom to show her the 'pretecho' (fun echo).
Mom and Dad don't see too much of the pregnancy and Okki (our little one) growing right now. That is why we decided to make an echo and get pictures for them. Tomorrow morning we will be having the echo and hopefully Okki will do its best to be on perfect behaviour for the camera.
Thursday morning Mom will bring us to Schiphol airport and hopefully around 1.30 p.m. we will be landing in Philladelphia, USA.
